Why People Who Don’t Drive Much Still Need An Annual Inspection

Why People Who Don’t Drive Much Still Need An Annual Inspection

You may be surprised to learn that even if you live in SW Florida and don’t drive your vehicle very much, having your vehicle maintained once a year is a good idea to help keep your vehicle running better longer. Some manufacturers recommend once a year maintenance inspection, which is designed to prolong the longevity, driveability of your car, and a key component for preventative maintenance. If you are looking to keep your vehicle performing in tip-top shape for the long-term, maintenance inspection is a must, even if you don’t drive your car very much.  Did you know that the weather can affect your vehicle in a good and bad way? Especially when your car isn’t being driven often, the oil isn’t flowing; the tires are sitting, belts, and batteries don’t like the heat of SW Florida, the joints and lubricants are not operating. The more your car sits, the more these internal systems in your vehicle don’t like it. If you aren’t planning on ... read more

Our Community Involvement

Our Community Involvement

It all started at Target, when one of the owners of Premier Auto Service Center, Jocelyne Dauphinais, noticed that a poster about giving 5% of your purchase price to the school of your choice. This idea resonated with Jocelyne, especially when she saw that every school year, each of her children’s teachers would have for a list of items, hoping that the parents would help them.  Instead of volunteering, Jocelyne decided to ask the PTO, the principal, the teachers, and even the coaches to figure out the best way they could help the school and teachers. The team at Premier Auto Service Center strongly believes that if we help our teachers, we help everyone’s future. With that in mind, we decided the best way to help the schools would be to give the schools 5% of the sales of anyone who tells us they are from a school, whether they are parent, student, teacher, or grandparent. The proceeds are directly from our shop’s profits.  Jocelyne and the rest of t ... read more

How Safe Are Your Brake Lines?

How Safe Are Your Brake Lines?

Did you drive back up north for the holidays, and then back down south for some fun in the Cape Coral sun? If your answer is yes, then you most likely were exposed to snow and salted roads. The snow and salt can take a toll on your vehicle, specifically your brakes and/or brake lines, and just like how you are looking for some rest and relaxation in Cape Coral, your car is most likely too.  If you are experiencing any of these signs, it means you need to schedule a visit to Premier Auto Service Center in Cape Coral, FL. Here are signs your brakes and/or brake lines just aren’t very safe:  If your vehicle is leaking fluid, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is coming from your braking system. Brake fluid is generally clear in color, or it may be auburn and brown if it is old. We Celebrate Veterans Day

We Celebrate Veterans Day

Veteran’s Day is a day to set aside and honor all American veterans, both living and dead. On November 11, 2019, we will recognize the sacrifices that veterans made when keeping our country free. Many confuse Memorial Day with Veterans Day. Memorial Day honors the fallen, while Veterans Day honors both the fallen and the living. We are fortunate to live in a country that holds time-honored values of bravery, liberty, and independence. We want to use our November blog to honor and appreciate our Veterans. We recognize the sacrifices you made to ensure we can continue to live freely in our country. We don’t want to think about where we would be without you. We appreciate everything you have done and continue to do.  Veterans Day is always on November 11, no matter what day it is. This year, it will be on a Friday. We will all take this day to honor both our fallen and alive Veterans, and we hope you do the same. We want all our clients to be safe ... read more
